Hydraulic Chevy cams were allowed the stock spring at about 84-86lbs on the seat. Single spring with a flat damper.

6000 rpm give or take a few hundred was all you were good for...1970 Stocker....

No idea is they still make them, or they would be applicable for use in a Stocker engine, but I have an old Iskenderian Cams catalog, and they had a line of "Hardface Overlay" cam lobes, to be used with their "Chilled Iron" lifters. Anybody familiar with those items?
