67, 68 Chevy II's . Two different platforms, yes?

You would think so but a Nova's platform is an X body. The 67-68 are completely different but still both X bodies and that's what NHRA bases its averages on. Only reason the 66 is not included in my combo is different cam lift and one cylinder head number thats not included in the 67-68 327.

To be nice ,I'd call that weird.
Completely different car with a different wheelbase.

I know about the 66 cam, but aren't there a few 67 stick cars out there?

Correct me if I am wrong. Doesn't Jim Parsons in Div. 5 run a 67 F/S Nova? Don't know of any others, could be more.

It's only one data point, but it seems that the D5 Chevy II clan (Merolla, Parsons, Hladky/McConnell) all run as 1966s:

Yes, we all escaped Bob's hit due to the different cam lift.
Also, Hladky has switched to the L-79 350hp combo.
I agree that the 68 & up platform should be a completely different platform...it's basically a Camaro with different sheet metal.
