There will be races that you can get into. Last year racers got into New England with a 3 easily and some got in with a 2. The doubling up of some events with a double open and 2 grade points and also some weekends with a LODRS and then an open have raised the average gp rating of many. Events will fill at a higher number because of that. Gainesville is not the norm.

I know a Stock racer who has 10 grading points in Stock one in SS and was told he couldn't use his stock points in SS. Makes no sense.

The grading points can be used for one or the other, but not both.

In that case you can enter one car with 11, or two cars with 10 and 1. You can’t allocate the 11 among multiple classes in any other way than how they were earned. But you can use those to enter any category other than TD, TS, or Super Street.
