NHRA Division 3 Race @ Milan August 12-13

Great move by NHRA D3. Milan has new owners as of '22 and has been performing upgrades to the facility. I even remember running the NHRA national opens that were held there back in the '90's. And it's only about 30 minutes from the Ohio state line. Please support this race!

I will support it Jim…Now how about y’all down there in Michigan & Ohio making the trip to Cayuga in May for the D1 Open? US bucks go a long way up here, don’tcha know! May 20/21.

NHRA could have scheduled the race closer to Bowling Green's race date. This way you could hit 3 races in a row, Milan, BG and Indy. I would make the trip up for the 3 weeks but not with a weekend in between BG and Milan. Maybe next year.

Bowling Green has the Danny Coffman Memorial 5k combo Saturday and $2k to win combo on Sunday before the divisional race.

Nothing on the track website, except for the dates.

The D3 FB page just states "Details Coming Soon"

Hey Guys,

I have been asked by the owners at Milan Dragway to work with them on their sponsor programs at the track. In my conversations we have discussed what they need to do regarding their web-site and social media platforms. They have retained Driveline Studios to assist in the improvements needed. It will take some time, but they are going in the right direction.

As to the NHRA Division National Open.

Here is what I know, there will be a posting shortly so please don't complain if there are any small changes.

Friday
Gates open at Noon.
There will be a test session from about 3:00 PM until just before dark. Probably a $100.00 to test.

Saturday is 2 qualifiers. After qualifying is over there will be a Stock/Super Stock Combo for those who wish to enter. Don't know the entry or payout for that yet.

Sunday will be National Open eliminations.

They will run their bracket program on Saturday and Sunday as well.

I hope to have a flyer with me in Indy this weekend. I will be at Milan all next week. I will monitor this thread to address anything that I can.
