of course i dont really know. But i was watching live. So if that was a factory hemi car then it had 6cyl. frt. suspension parts.An it looked to me right off that a front susp. part broke. I have seen that happen back in the 70s, but of course i dont know this situation.

I read this elsewhere and it was posted by a racer who is also a member of this site.
Finish line WRECK D7 Race #1 drivers okay! John Dourlet and Justin Jerome tangled at the finish line after the accusump of Dourlet’s 1967 Hemi Belvedere II (real deal; one-of-55) lost pressure onto the track. Dourlet hit the right wall and spun into Jerome who also spun and I believe hit the left wall. Normally I would not want to post on something like this but wanted to set the record straight, Dourlet did not hit brakes and spin, nor did his engine blow. Completely freak accident and Thank you GOD the drivers came out with no injuries. |
