It is definitely better this year, I believe it is because they have involved Warren Evans who previously did D3TV. I believe the cameras are his. Much few issues so far this year.

I feel for you guys that are still racing and the costs you have to pay for everything NHRA, with the small rewards that winning now yields. I no longer pay for an NHRA membership. Think they really went down hill when Mr. Gibbs retired. Even before that, corporate greed was taking it's toll.

But for those of us who have retired from drag racing and want to keep track of our friends still racing and still loving stock and superstock class racing. The $149/year is a good deal as long as the TV streaming service is good. Too hard for some of us who lived hard in our younger years to travel much! So nice to watch on the laptop when ever stock, superstock or Top Alcohol dragster are running.

I know, have a large screen TV on the table right in front of me with the cable. But for some reason I wind up not plugging in.. Not sure why.. Maybe because when the good classes are done for a while, one can surf the net.... But thanks for the suggestion!

Quick question. Just started watching races through NHRA’s YouTube channel this year. NHRA TV has something like 37 races they are going to let us see for free without buying a subscription. They are all or mostly divisional races. I can see the pros on one of my streaming apps if I want. I’m more interested in divisional and sportsman racing. If you sign up for $149 - 25% discount package. Do you get to see any additional divisionals other than the 37 free ones? Do you get to see stock and super stock qualifying runs and all the elimination runs at nationals?

There are no additional 'pay' divisional events. The ones that they do stream are all free.

Yes, 'in theory' you get to see every run at all national events. Sometimes they don't get the equipment fired up in time in the morning, and you may be out of luck if the Pros finish on Sunday but the sportsman classes finish Monday. But for the most part, you get to see it all.

If you subscribe to NHRA.TV I don't believe you get to see any additional Divisional races.

However as a subscriber you most always get to see every run down the track at a national event, just like you were there. There have been limited occasions in the past where they may have started the broadcast late and missed some runs. However in some cases you could "rewind" and see what was missed.

My observation so far with the new provider (Endeavor Streaming), the broadcast starts well before anything happens on the track.

Like the Divisional Races the audio is primarily what you would hear over the track public address system.
