Good morning - Best thing I can say this morning is that Spring is back as the high today is to be low seventies - cloudy and at this moment I can hear pitter-patter on my roof .Nothing huge is expected but it might delay the start this AM.
Yesterday was terrific here at Cecil -yes it was hot but super conditions for sure with the track being in the best shape i've ever seen here .On the flip side of things the q-sheets really don't show the true performance of the Stock and S/S cars in attendance because of the large amount of 1000' passes. This 'new' way of controlling the fast cars isn't working - just making it boring. Hope the NHRA is listening . This morning when we get started it will be juniors then SuperStreet followed by Stock. Later ................

According to your formula, that is a 10.87.The car was about 2 tenths slower than that. |

11.39 1.607 60' 9.520 X 1.19 = 11.328 11.40 1.608 60' 9.523 X 1.19 = 11.332 If multiplied by 1.20 - 11.424 11.427 I guess the formula is sensitive to a car's potential, plus, multiplying by 1.19 or 1.20 makes a substantial difference. I was thinking NHRA could use a formula to determine what a 1000' foot run would be 1320 feet, but it appears it's not that cut and dried. Thanks P.S. Sorry for the hijack.
