I didn't like it last year, and I still don't like it this year. The schedule prior to last year was Stock Class on Thursday and Super Stock Class (including the Hemi Challenge) on Friday. Just about everyone liked it; so why change it. The Jeg's Allstars are gone, so that excuse has been taken away. If it ain't broke; don't fix it.

This is completely ridiculous on NHRA's part. When we started going to indy in 2000's the entry allowed 200 for all sportsman classes. We had separate days for class and a teardown day thereafter. I understood "Covid" and I understood the All Stars, but with both gone how can we not at least have separate days for class??? Mr. Peterson is who we all need to reach out to in order to move the schedule to reflect the "indy of old...ish". Pro car counts are down, sportsman quotas are down 25% min...just give us our own days!!! I know I loved getting up at 7am on Thursdays to go stand at the line to watch 100 pairs of stockers...and I know I'm not alone in that statement.
