The 915 head is far better for stock, the 516 is an earlier head. A superseding head is typically if not always a newer head.

The 915 flows way better in our experience!
You could spend thousands on the 516 and it would
not be any better than a virgin 915.

Thanks guy's, I didn't know any better. Thought the valve size was the only difference.

The 67 GTX 440 is a pretty good combo especially.
with the 49 state 750 Carb.

I thought it might be worth a try. Was planning on using the edelbrock 1407 and it will be a stick shift car.
