The car has always been run as a stocker with relatively low power. I plan to install a SBC of about 550 horse and bracket race in no E/foot brake and some index racing 6.5 - 7.0 classes.

Of course, it has a 9" tire and not much room for any larger [I do not want to cut the car except for minor trimming if needed.]

Help me with a good setup for this situation. It will weigh around 3050 - 3100 with driver.
Adjustable upper control arms, HR Parts N Stuff antiroll bar. Does the 12 bolt in the car have the raised mounting points on the housing like the newer Moser housings? If not, you'll need a set of no-hop bars to correct the instant center. With all of these things it will work perfectly fine with a 9" tire.

There is plenty to be had getting the front end to work very freely as well.

Mike, I do not know about the 12 bolt. The car is one of the Olds factory race cars and it came with the 12 bolt. But since it is an 84 model, I expect it is the old style 12 bolt. I will know more soon. It is a cool car in excellent condition. Been a stocker all its life, never street driven.
These pics may shed some light.
