Hey guys, a quick note. Stock and Super Comp 1st round after the pros run. There is a chance of rain in the morning, so they moved us up. Super Stock and Super Gas may also get round 1 in tonight as I assume it will be late.
I have a video in the lanes for Super Stock coming up later. |

First round of stock with U/SA McNeal Freeman. Live timing has him crossing at 26 mph for the win. Good Brakes!!! Eddie must have felt like he passed a parked car.

Interesting tidbit from Charlotte: The quickest ET out of SS & Stock combined was a Stocker! Chris Vang's FS/AA Camaro ran an 8.345, quicker than both of the SS/AM's of Robbie Draughon (8.417) & Chuck Gallagher (8.437). Ken Miele's FS/AA was 4th at 8.453.
Also of note was the 5.821 of Doug Winters' AA/PM in Comp. My gut feeling is that may be the quickest Sportsman run in history. |
