Today should be good, four heads-up race in Stock first round, A/S, B/SA, D/SA, and F/SA. No such luck in Super Stock.
With some racers working on their average and Q2 rained out a few did not qualify for the 128 car field but they did get a grade point l think. Looking at Q1 racers came from near and far to get this race in. The quality of cars are very good top to bottom. Just walking around looking at the cars and workmanship gives me ideas on how to improve my car. It’s the little things that add up. I get to race one of my mentors first round Kenny Schindler in his Art’s Used Parts SS/DA Corvette. Leo when he was announcing made up the tag line for Art’s place “If we ain’t got it you don’t need it” Last edited by Larry Hill; 10-05-2023 at 08:14 AM. |

It’s stopped raining and they’re drying the track and pits. The weather looks good the rest of the weekend. So y’all come on over and play. If you’re a stocker better bring your A game. 140 cars trying for a128 spots. Or run super stock we still have room for 38 more. It’s a great track that is well run

If you’re listening to Allen Rhinehart he spoke of the dating pool. At St Louis there is a large area of pavement that is usually used for VIP parking. At this race it’s use is the dating pool. All racers are directed into the pool where you find your opponent decide lane choice then both pull into the lanes. It worked very well. Today for round 2 for Stock and Super Stock they had first three designated pairs. I don’t know how they were chosen but it did move things along on a busy day with a full schedule.
This week has been great seeing friends, making new acquaintances, and having a car that is starting to behave like a real race car. For those parked on the grass the track announced that before you try to leave notify the track and they would provide assistance if needed to get out. It will keep the grounds in good shape and keep you rig as clean as possible. I believe they said to contact Ms Sally for help. If you want to attend a great venue with some killer competition make plans to be in StLouis next year. |

With 140 stockers on property, why were there 2 bye runs? I would understand if the car next to you breaks, but that didn't look the problem seeing it on the computer.

The 2nd one happened a little further back in the staging lanes but the cars were both paired and in the staging lanes. At that point, all of the alternates had already been sent back to the pits since all cars were present and accounted for and in the lanes. |
