What I want to know is if I bring my 69 Camaro to Indy and enter in AA/S, make my first Q 1 pass weighing about 100lbs under the shootout weight then Q2 and Q3 are above this weight will I be disqualified??? Also, if there is a rainout will this shootout be canceled?

I have a car that will fit in AA. It is for sale.
Oh! I forgot. It has the third pedal in it now, so that's a start. lol Last edited by Terry Cain; 11-21-2023 at 05:54 AM. |

Competitive field. This years race was one that the fastest passes were all side by side and all carb cars could have won races with efi ls car with a .020 or better light. How competitive do you want it?

That LS car had 3 mph on the field every round this year. A few years ago another LS stick car went 138 and 140mph. That same car also went .06 quicker and 6 mph faster than Steve Wann did in A/SA. I only point that out as some say Mr. 413 is the fastest A car in the country. I don't think a carb car has gone 135 at Indy.
