Default Re: Sportsman Council

Dave makes a good point. There are many things that NHRA could do to reduce the cost of racing without costing themselves anything.

For example, we tried a late entry into St Louis, but they changed their "procedure" from last year on trying to enter. It seems you only have 1 hour after all the withdrawals on Monday night to enter the race, then the drop down menu disappears. Not even an act of congress can over-ride that drop down menu closure. Stacy asked if the bureaucracy was more important than his "cash money smack down on the barrel head" in this down turned economy. She laughed, said "no", but he still wasn't getting in.

Don't drill for oil, refuse nuclear power, then complain about gas prices and global warming. Somehow it all seems illogical, but similarly consistent.
