The reason I'm asking is that one of the diaper companies has told my friend that diapers no longer need to be certified.

Thanks in advance

Bill

That's the way I read my book. Please advise if I am reading it wrong.
PS, I have the Don Davis in my Davis 57. Fingers crossed!

O.K. Guys here's the deal........

The 2008 Rule Book does not have the Revised Ruling regarding Oil Retention Devices.

The rule was revised on 1/15/08 and is on NHRA's website. Unless you run in Top Fuel or Top Alcohol (who needs to run a 7.1) you are NOT Required to run an SFI Diaper. You are only Required to run an "NHRA Accepted" diaper which needs NO Recertification.

The 7.2 is No Longer "Required" in ANY Classes! However if you already own one it is "Permitted"
