On the 376/ 385 Direct Injection engine the dome was changed from .045” high with a volume of 4.0 cc to a .060” dome height with a volume of 4.1 cc.
I wonder how many times they had to pour to arrive at the .015” taller dome only displacing .1cc more volume. Maybe NHRA has a portable climate controlled room maintaining a standard temperature. Last edited by Larry Hill; 01-28-2025 at 05:43 PM. |
