Hey guys, well the sun finally broke through and we are test and tuning. Not sure how long the test and tune will be as we had a late start. The weather was very good, Temp 63, DA of around 600ft and a Bar at 30,00. Tomorrow will be much cooler in the morning mid 40's and the DA will be below sea level for sure.
As I'm typing this I just heard there was a wreck and the top end. I'll post details when I get more info. They did say the driver was out of the car and walking around. |

Life is good again. We have drag racing and "live from" and tours of the pits from Ken Miele. Thank you Ken, good way to get the year started.
Yes, it does seem like the 2024 season ended a week ago.

2 questions please
1- How late are the gates open tonight ? Would love to get in there, parked and start setting up but wouldn?t arrive until close to midnight now 2- How early are the gates open tomorrow ? I heard 8am. I hope it?s earlier because it will be a scramble to be ready in time n |

Gates were open until 8pm yesterday, I don't know about today. Tomorrow I was told 7am.

You have it better than we do in Maryland. Tonight it is single digits, with a low of 6F and a high Friday of 23F.

We can tell Ken has turned into a southern when he's complaining about 30 degree weather....come on Ken that's pretty warm for up here in Jersey, it was 13 when I got in my car to go to work at 5am yesterday. Good Luck down there, we will have to live through you since there is no live stream.

Good morning everyone, I knows its cold up north, but for Florida, its to dam cold. Bright sunshine this morning, but cold. I will post the weather numbers below. Super Street out first followed by Stock. I will not make the first pass, so I should be able to get some nice starting line photos. As you can see from the numbers its going to be AHFS nightmare. I don't see many not lifting at the 1000 foot. With no 1000 ft numbers on our time slip, the dial will be tricky. Don't ask me why they don't have 1000 foot numbers.
