This has been going on forever in this division so just a suggestion let them save spots just put them in the last row away from the staging lanes. I get it mostly Super Classes and they hang out at night

I have another idea Put permanant lines for each Pit spot then put up the class who pits there a sign ,so now each class knows where to go the signs are very cheap now the class cars who tow should be the furtheset away from the staging lanes and the cars who drive should be the closests,another profit center for NHRA have new sponsors sponser each catergory pit spot like the Hagerty SS Pits spots for a reasoanble costs ,wow what a concept .another idea if You are over 70 years old You get to pit closer to the staging lanes LOL

This works absolutely great until organized theft/crime is involved. Think Gators/Charlotte in the 2000's. An organized ring just waited till a class was called and then hit every rig, truck, motorhome, and trailer that was open. They feasted until one person was caught at the Gators, and RH caught one in his MH @ Charlotte. This was just down from where we parked. RH allegedly beat the perp in a cage match (inside the MH). Then threw the perp out of the front entrance. Somehow the perps hand ended up under the front wheel of the MH (The wheel was 2-3 inches off the ground just prior to his hand being stuck under the wheel). Police could not come to a conclusion as to how the perps hand got in the position it was in.

NHRA then started mixing the parking so entire sections of the pits would not be vacant when classes were called.
