So in effect you are running less than 1320 feet, and based on the car / model different ones will run a different length.

Damn, I was there for 10 days and never knew any of this was going on, including the check for blinders. I've got to start getting out of the motor home more.

After doing some of the .90 wars for a few years you learn to check the front end of cars you?re not familiar with so for me this is just part of racing. I have a much bigger issue with arbitrary rules put in place by a vocal minority from the NHRA “chosen”, such as no blinders and air shifters in Stock. Blatant favoritism is just one of my “buttons”, and it downplays the role of the SRAC.
