Been pushing buttons in my Max Wedge since the 70's . Wouldn't have it any other way.

So like you blow on it instead of moving it with a arm movement?

What a time we live in where how you shift your automatic transmission becomes such an emotional trigger.

Seems simple run a stick if you want to shift every gear yourself. Run automatic if you want the option to do it either way. I could care less on how my opponent does it. Blocking, shifting or stripe takers still won?t help racers who struggle. I?d prefer every one of my opponents have an air bottle. It?s one more thing that can go wrong with there run. Stripe takers will lose more runs then they will help with. Blocking is a great tool but you better be able to switch back when it gets dark. I understand the purity aspect of Stock Eliminator but her virginity was lost when we started allowing aftermarket components. I?m not the brightest bulb but I?m pretty sure edlebrock heads never came from the factory. Same could be said for Caltracs, afco shocks. Now that I pissed off everyone here let?s just realize there is nothing stock about what we do now and join together and support any group that tries to give us a place to compete. Instead of hassling and bitching about every detail.

So you start out with an automatic transmission, then you turn it into a manual transmission. Now you want an automatic shifter, why not just turn it back to an automatic, shifting problems are solved. You don't need to move that lever to change gears anylonger.
