And if he had just used a stock sunshade to block the tree it would have been ok? Many helmets have dark shields so how is that enforced?

A dark shield is not considered a blinder. A taped up or painted visor is considered a blinder, which is illegal! When a racer is told he can?t have or use something, that mean all other racers can?t use it either! Since there is no tech, we the racers have to police ourselves!

My apologies I just should have used my left hand to keep the sun out of my eyes and not a small card tucked in my helmet witch falls under the no blinder rule . Sorry again just wasn't thinking straight .
