Again this is my opinion, but if the the race doen't generate enough to bring 75-100 cars per class, then I highly doubt any one will "go in the hole" over not having it, I actually think the Pitt. sportsman national event will have more cars per class than would have been at TMP.

Let the results speak for themselves in that case.

Your expectations for an IHRA event are a little optimistic, I think.

remember when norwalk went n.h.r.a.,and i.h.r.a. lost the world finals track(norwalk) then the anoucement of the track to be built to hold the world finals, then that was canceled,12 events down to 11 ,now10 events with the toronto cancel, why has i.h.r.a not moved these events elsewhere??????????? something is not right.wait till you see the low car count in Edmonton,10 pro stocks are going to boycott the race if they do not get some travel relief ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, my 8 cents

12 races, 11 races, 10, 9, 8 .....................

wondering out loud.....

will the pro teams who have sponsorship packages for 11 races, refund their sposors,,,,
they are only going to be televised 10 times, oops maybe nine for the boycotters,,,,,
hmm they are pro teams right?,,,,,,
Maybe IHRA can send out the cheques on their behalf.

How much harder will it be for them to procure money now?

this is a warning sign of how tough things are going to get!
