starting this year only the top 12 pro cars are qualified on friday. This leaves 4 spots to be filled on saturday. They did this so if you did not get a good run in the the good fri. night air you still have a shot of making the field.

I think Jack bought this car from Yates. He is on a very modest budget just living a dream. Good job for Lee to step up with his driving accomplishments for a driving spot, I heard they wouldnt let Jack enter the car himself. They told him P/S was full? Dont know if that is a rumor or reality.

A lot of the S/SS racers went to the stands to watch Lee make his first pass in a Pro Stock car at a National event. It was great! He left first and went straight down the track. 6.98 and 197 mph as I remember. Lee did not make the field but he sure as hell proved that he can handle one of those little rockets.
