Unless you're "indepedently wealthy" or into self inflicted pain, I wouldn't do a big block combo right now. I am trying to get a 307 car to work and even at 175 hp the carb is just too small. The 6 cyls. are cheap and fast but too inconsistant. If I were starting from scratch and had a nice body with a 10 bolt in it I would do a 70 350 2V @ 230 hp. The specs on that combo are so screwed up to the good that I'm suprised that there is only one running (Kinash). Check it out.
