Angela,

Inconsistencies? You want inconsistencies? Just watch the tech department for awhile. They'll give you inconsistencies in drag racing.

This site is not promoting a new priesthood of mankind. Sometimes things grow a little too quickly before we get a chance to "moderate" them. Threads do twist and turn from time to time.

But we will be more vigilant in the future.

Admin previously made the comment that he "missed" the other events that were posted here, which is understandable that it might be difficult to moderate everything, HOWEVER, Cambria asked why the Canadian topic was still in this topic and he was basically told to mind his own business, and the topic is still here, so Admin knows its still here but blatently chooses to ignore it, not enforcing your Event rule in that situation. That's the point I'm making.

Thanks for promising to be more vigilant in the future, I notice that Canadian event topic is still under this forum

Ed, I can't help myself.

Angela, I'm sorry to here you are disappointed in the way I run this site. Although I find your comparison to NHRA unfair, you have a right to your opinion. We do not charge members anything, it does not cost tens of thousand of dollars to participate. To compare the two is not fair.

I do try to be fair, but here are times that I have missed threads, forgive me for not being perfect.

Angela, you need to lighten up a little. This is only a message board and should not always be taken so seriously. Try to enjoy life, don't let the little things bring you down. All I am trying to do is keep the forum from getting out of control the best way I know how.

As far as the challenge stock super stock in canada it will stay, that thread is more about what the challenge is and who is running it. If you do not like my interpretation of that thread, this I can not help. I make the final decisions, right or wrong.

You know what the say, you can please some of the people some of the time, but you can't please all of the people all of the time.

Do a little research before getting twisted off
1. First Canada race post 6-30-08 11:00 AM
2. New topic area for events. First post 7-31-08 9:38 PM
3. Post # 10 on Canada Race 7-03-08 5:09 PM
4. Post # 11 on Canada Race 8-01-08 7:16 PM

Note: Canada Race thread has been inactive for almost one month. How far back in the list of threads does that make it?? No wonder the Admin lost track of it when starting the new Topic area for Race events.

5. Censorship post started 8-11-08 12:30 PM
6. Last post on Canada Race before Censorship post started 8-06-08 6:30 PM

Note: Again how far buried, in 5 days, is the Canada Race thread when the Censorship thread starts?

7. Derek brings back the Canada Race with an up date on 8-13-08 2:08 PM

By that time the Censorship thread was in full bloom. It was on page 2 at post # 17.
After that the Canada Race thread became an issue.
COME ON
Give the Admins a little credit. No wonder Ken admitted losing track of that thread. It was bouncing around like a rubber ball & had been started long before the Event area of the forum. The way I see it is: This is "JUST" a forum. It is Not mine or yours, it is Kenny's. So it is not a democracy. It is his to run the way he wants. We just have the right to participate and allowed to give our input on issues. We must also follow the rules he has laid down. Even if they can or do change from time to time. We should always follow the rules of civility, too. So I've had my say & I'm putting this nonsense to rest. I'm exercising my right, as a member, & I'm not going to read or participate in this thread any more.
