Fluidamper is heavier than most; does not work well in all applications either. There is an SAE paper on racing balancers and Fluidamper was not that good in dampening the harmonics and/or preventing crank flex.

ATI here. Our last engine had over 227 passes on it and if I didn't know any better I would've put the bearings back in it.

Fluidamper, no problems, 468 cu in, 13 to 1 compression, 4 seasons.
