Weather for rd 1 of SS was 76 degrees, 94% humidity and 29.59 baro.
I ran Bud Rowe in round one, and came out on the winning end. We're off until tomorrow morning. Here is a few pics from the afternoon (too busy during rd 1 to get any SS pics - sorry!)..... Here is first pro session down the track........   Sun came out in afternoon and temps went into the low 90's. Pits from hillside in back of pits.........  Here's Eddie Diaz (ss/ia) relaxing in shade after his rd 1 win over Tim Worner.........

After rd 1, I had some free time so I took a tour of LOWES motor speedway with the Worner brothers.

We also took a trek to HENDRICK motorsports which was about two miles down the road....
