I'm a poor boy trying to do it on the cheap. I have Areospace brakes on my '96 firebird and the fit fine. Light, wheels roll easy and it stops just fine. They clear my Weld Pro Star fronts and Bagart rears with no problems. I have F.J. Smith's master cylinder setup. Been on there since 2003.

Put strange brakes frt. and rear on my 04 super stock mustang, 3000 lbs. 137 mph stops fine. System went on with no problems, I've had both willwood and strange on two different cars, I like the strange calipers a lot better. Joe

I have Strange brakes all the way around on a 69 Barracuda. Front fit perfect. I had a little problem with the rears because my Strange axles were so darn old. However Strange machined the axles, no charge and then they fit great. Good customer service.
Stops a whole lot better than the little OEM drum brakes. Bill Lamb |

Get the spindles from Lamb as mentioned earlier, and you will need the Lamb style symetrical rear end flange. And the Lamb master cylinder is second to none. As far as the cost is concerned...It does not come in to play when my wife's safety is on the line.
Ask Brenda, she will tell you it is probably the best money we have spent on the car! Holding on the line at 3300+ RPM is no problem for her. The fit and finish are awesome. I am sure other manufacturers have fine brake systems, and some maybe equal, but none better. The above is my opinion only, and there is no "quid-pro-quo". Bill |

Thanks to all for the input. Mr pomponi I will be giving you a call.
Buzzinhalfdozen What brake master cylinder are you using. Gene Monahan I should send my car to you for the winter to build, do you think they will notice a injected motor in a 69 camaro.LOL George and Sam I will call jimmy, Can some one PM me his phone #. Bill Grubbs I agree with you 100%, Spend the money for good brakes. After all i am building a new car because of a brake system failure, That almost cost my friend his Life |
