So does new pavement mean no more water coming through the track?? I think there should be some digging along side the track.

Been told by a very reliable LVD source that the drainage has been there all along BUT, the problem was the mineral spirits used in the traction compound LVD switched to that was eating the binder for the asphalt. This created LARGE gaps between the stones in the blacktop allowing the water to ooze up through it after it started to warm up under the sun. This makes sense as they didn’t have any real water issues for the first 10 years after it was paved with the "previously used" compound. Good to see Howard finally getting off the wallet!

Don what traction compound were they using that created this problem???? And what are they planning to use now.
