Ed, It's really a shame you can't attend one of Pat's Cajun Nationals. I have been to four of them and I hope to be able to make at least one more. Any track owner that would not request one of those video you mention would just be shooting themselves in the foot! Fun is what it's all about and fun is what you get at Pat's races! He is the hands down "guru of racing fun"! Jim

Pat,
The applause for you and your wife is a standing ovation many times over...."build it and they will come." Amongst all of the doom and gloom around us your story is a tribute to what one can do in hard times. The suits at NHRA should take a good hard look at what you and your wife have achieved and take a few lessons. I've added visiting your track to my bucket list and want to wish you and your wife continued success. Looking forward to a having a cold one at your trackside bar. Cheers! Clap, clap, bow, hats off, congrats and anything else that would show how impressed I am. Always wanted to get over there. Now it's moved up on the list of places to go. Too bad other track owners don't follow suit. Good luck with the facility...and the loan!!

Pat knows the secret. There are business men who are looking for a way to make more money, with only profit on their mind, just the bottom line. Then there are those always looking for a way to do things better, and make things better. The first type don't always do real well. The second type? Well, profit finds them, because profit looks for them, and finds them where success is found, and success is found around hard work, intelligence, diligence, and dedication.

I seldom travel very far to race. Belle Rose is a 1900 mile round trip for me, but I look forward to Pat's Sportsnationals every year. He always makes it a fun race.

Great sentiments Pat.
I've been there, in '01 when it was new. It is a great place and sounds like it's only gotten better. I wish I could make it to several races every year at No Problem. |
