Default Re: doug nash 5 spd converted to 4spd

In the early eighties I ran a Doug Nash 4+1 trans in my Super Stock Camaro. The gear pattern was 1345.Second gear was not used. Long made a shifter for that combo. Garley Daniels was the one that told me about it. There was not any et difference but ran about 1/2 mph faster. The high gear slider was pretty expensive due to the reverse gear teeth on the outside of it.

Mike,
If you know anyone that needs a Nash 4 speed, I have the trans and Long shifter out of Garley's old Super Modified Chevy II.
