Default Re: Aerospace Rear Brakes

My neighbor has a 68 Camaro and has the same problem. he decided to move the calipers to the front of the axle instead of the rear. Don't think he has it completed yet, but it looks good that way.

They told me that I could run one caliper mounted on the front on one side and one on the rear. I don't think so!!!!! The shocks are mounted on the Cal Trac spring perches. After all is said and done when the fittings I ordered come in I'm hoping to at least have 1/4 inch clearance between the shock and the fitting.

I had the same problem on my car and had to run one caliper on the front and one on the back. You also have to press out the bushing where the bolt goes through on one of them and turn it around. They work great and I have had no problems with them.

I was able to move the shock inboard so that I have 3/4 inch clearance now. It should be OK.
