No one is selling the cars as any thing except the history that they are. The people who are coming to see the cars are only enjoying the memories they represent. Judging from all of the responses, including everyone at Roxboro on Thursday, people look at them and remember how drag racing was in those day, particularly match racing.
How about Sox & Martin, Motown Missile, Grumpy's Toy and Daddy Warbucks in a four way match race. Oops, Tracy I'm sorry I didn't see your post. There was a match race on the Monday night, two weeks before the one at Roxboro, between the Sox & Martin car and a previous Billy Steep car racing under the name "Shadow Lancer". As we were standing around in the pits at Roxboro Thurday night we were talking about when these match race, took place every night of the week Monday in Darlington S.C., Tuesday at Capitol Raceway in Maryland and Thursday night at Englishtown. |

Need to make one last post on the match racing until probably next year. We are not selling cars but, there are nostalgia design match race t-shirts for sale and at the races 50/50 tickets with donations going to The Ronnie Sox Foundation to benefit the Children at St. Judes.
See you at the races. |

I don't understand why these cars are automatics? Put a Jerico or a Lenco in them! I don't get it. Jim
