IMO anyone cheating and smart to enough to develop a system to be able to peal off 7 in a row anytime they needed ? I would think that they would be smart enough to not draw that much attention to themselves if so.

That being said I have ran across some very smart techinoids over my years, that seem to have I’Q’s thru the roof …..but yet not have enough common sense to come out of the rain. So I guess ya’s never really know?

I myself assume that most people are honest.

But IMO if your caught cheating ?

Hommie dont play that !

Adios !........ for life.

I have only had a couple in total. The best performance I personally have ever produced was the last year of the .400 light... 10.899 off the trailer 10.904 10.900 and then kept the car within .01 of the # all day... The rotten thing about it was that it was time trials... The next day I went to the semis best I ran was a 10.902 (losing effort RED light) everything else was 10.91-10.92 tapping the brakes... I have seen lots of 90's in a row but not perfect ones

I had three perfect 8.900 at the first Cajun Sportsnationals and ended up winning the event. One was first round on a competitor red light (Jeg Coughlin) the second was on a second round bye run!

I had seven 9.90 runs in Pomona including the final, but runnered up to Hot Rod

Cheating? No

Luck? Yes

Point being it can and will happen.

How about how many perfect runs? Personally, I saw my first one today at Gainesville. Don't know who it was, but it was a red corvette roadster.

I ran 2 at ATCO last year myself, I'm talking perfect runs. .00 light 10.90 and one was to win. Yes, it happens and if you know me, you know I was pretty surprised.
I saw my wife run 3 back to back 9.90s in a row and no light worse than an .05 back in '96. She lost 3rd round, the other guy had an .01 light and ran dead on too.

7 seems a bit much for luck, perhaps really deadly dialed in?

Thumbs up Re: how many

I can vouch for ed on the perfect run last year against me in the final at atco!! He had a .000 light and ran a 10.900!!!! I had to look at my time slip twice then shook my head and smiled and thought wow he strapped one on me. Great job ed. By the way are you coming back up here this year?

Hey Bighead...we missed you in Phoenix..if you were there maybe my foot would have come off the brake pedal a little faster....

I think we ran 5 90's at the Norwalk national last year in eliminations...including the redlight in the final across from Al Kenny's .007 9.900.....

Its pretty lucky...but when it happens its a good day usually...I just wish it would happen a little more often...
