i think your right about that from further info....this car is the torino 500 wagon that came factory with a 2v, nhra tech said that would be a natural p/sa
so the higher hp 351 4v would put it at j or k ...not sure which gotta chec
i know the car was available with a 4v combo so i think its legal to run
im a s/g s/c driver so all this stock stuff is a little new to me....thanks for the info

Also the specs are a .430"I / .450"E cam, Not .420" / .450".

After looking at what GTXJohn said about gearing (he runs SBM which would have a lot more bottom end than your Clevland), I would start with 5.38's. And you might be right on about the 5.57's.

I believe Pro-Trans will build a TF inside a C4 with better low gearing. Of course that isn't cheap!

For a wagon, I think those are pretty cool. Not Vista Cruiser cool, but I think next best thing.

i think you are correct about the specs....im just a dumb s/g driver, and am learning this stock game. ive already talked to dave and darren about the gearing in the trans and there gonna set it up for me.....im thinking about starting with the 5.38 gears. that seems to be the consensus from what im being told. and we are using the 285 hp motor. just want to have all my ducks in a row before we spend the $$$$ and we appreciate all of the help weve gotten on this forum
