SuperStock got their final hit in .......now its a waiting game until first round ! !A bit of wind is kicking up and down the track ....a storm brewing ? ? That question and many more to be answered in the next few hours .

One final S/S note - I stood on the starting line area while Bo Kenneys' SS/AAA Cobra Jet went on a pass -- to tell you I was impressed by the sound of power alone would be an understatement .You have to hear it for yourself to believe - just listen sometime...........

Opps - one more last thing - Holley was more than happy to sit still for her photo on ClassRacer .com

S/S Round three .........Slight rain delay .Stock 4 coming up.

Stock finished round two and SuperStock to come out shortly .The temperature is dropping fast -already down to the mid-sixties and the dew should be arriving in the next half hour .How late they can race is anyones guess but I'm thinking not much past nine pm safely but you never know .They'll call Stock for round three soon ........

I don't believe it but we finished - congrats to Ken Robinson and Byron Worner for their wins - i've a bunch of photos to post later after I get home .........gotta run -its starting to rain and its a couple hour drive .

Air was really good for Maryland in August. ,,,,We usually have 90 -100 deg weather for this race ,with DA 's in the 4000' range.
Baro was 29.8-29.9 all weekend . temps varied from hi 60's to mid 80's with DA of about 1600 to 2000' , was much more like a Spring race than a mid East Coast Summer race !
