Gas has been headed in the right direction for sometime. That's great. I suspect we are going to be disappointed soon after the med term elections are over. Another political Obama trick to get the democrats reelected. Let's see what happens... I hope I'm wrong.

Gas was down to $2.74 last week here. Back up to $2.94 yesterday. Goes down a couple penny's at a time, goes back up a dime at a time.
One of the biggest gasoline retailers here told me it is the "parasite marketers", not the oil companies or retailers playing those games.

Do all the stations have a hotline? Seems they are synchronized to the minute whenever the price changes.

4.14 us. for a U.S. gallon (3.78 liters) there in Nova Scotia. $5.55 for a Canadian gallon (4.535 liters). So $3.00 cheap to us.

About $3.40 here on the left coast, that is until a new round of taxes go into affect in January then it goes up by some crazy carbon tax amount on the manufacturers. Guesses are between $.16 - $.75 gallon more, that will get us to $5.00 when it goes back up to where it was in the summer.

The deep water industry is making hugh finds out there in the Gulf of Mexico. I know Shell hit one recently that will flow 100K barrels a day, and BP/Chevron each 40 and a big independent 20 %, hit one this month 80K barrels a day. Shell is in 7200 ft of water and BP/Chevron 4500 ft I think. None of this is coming on shore because of the structure to get it here, but is being built and engineered. That is good for everyone, especially South Louisiana. And retail fuel is getting cheap here. Some of the alcohol content is getting questionable.
