He seems to have been one of the few that ran the 64 Fury convertible in S/SS.. I've located a few other pics of it and I do like the "Savoy" look with no trim! Found a 64 Fury vert that is turquoise w/black top and interior I am considering restoring and putting together for stock. Gordie

Thanks to ever one who posted the great shots of the cars.
It's like taking a trip down memory lane for me. Many thanks Jim Hill |

What brand of front wheels are these? Are they the ones with the "flat" centers? Monocoque?

Here are two Mopar stockers that my Dad has owned for the last few years.
The 70 Challenger is Al Corda's 1997 National Championship winning A/SA car. He bought it from the pro wrestler Bill Goldberg and has just been preserving it and taking it to car shows. The 72 Road Runner was originally on the Coletti's "Riddler" team back in 1972 and I just saw a picture of it in that paint scheme today on this forum. It had a number of different sponsors over the years. I hope to finally get it back on the track consistently this spring. Both cars have made multiple appearances in the various Mopar Performance catalogs/manuals over the years so maybe someone will recognize them! ![]() |
