Default IHRA Memphis Superstock

Three superstocks at IHRA Memphis. I sure am glad IHRA decided to have its year end race there. Right in the heart of their membership base.

I think this weekend was a poor choice. I like running IHRA, but it seems like they shoot themselves in the foot a lot. Does nobody there realize most are getting ready for Indy? Next weekend is first time out for a lot of new or fresh engines & Trans as a test before (and on the way to for many) Indy. When I saw this scheduled I wondered what they were thinking.
Still surprised at only three SS cars.

I guess my thought for some people coming from the west would be Memphis, Bowling Green, Indy.

I hate to say it, but if it was an NHRA race, at the same track on the same weekend, it would be packed. Some guys just won't go to an IHRA race. Their loss... IHRA runs a good program.

Just freshened the ole School Bus motor, am putting the headers on right now.Bowling Green,Indy next stop.I'll agree, bad planing on IHRA part.Hate missing races 4hrs from home. Was going to the Gillum La race until they moved it to Dallas the week before Ennis.Gillum is less than two hrs. Hard to make two races in a row much less three and run a business.I plan on the BG,Indy race ahead.
