I'm surprised to not see a mention of Allison TranSynd in this thread. It seems to be the "gold standard" in the bracket/Super-class world.

I ran it in my C4, Eddie Horensky found no better or worse wear with it than the Amalie Type F. A gallon of Trans Synd cost what a case of Amalie cost so I went with the Amalie and never looked back.

This is what I use in the race car, service truck and the Duramax truck. A friend of mine works on Allison transmissions and says it is a extended interval oil, 200,000 miles. Works for me. |
