I do not have a dog in the fight, and try and stay off these subjects if i can. However, some times one must state his thoughts. I thought there were 4 pro classes in NHRA-t/f f/c p/s psm. If that is true, then why is comp and alcohol running this weekend as they are sportsman classes also. If they are no longer sportsman, it is news to me,and if they are pros, why do they have reps on the SRAC. Just looks to me like the same classes get the shaft everytime. Are the alcohol reps standing up for you guys, or are they glad to be running this week while the rest of you wait a week and pray for better weather. Just my 2 cents.

I agree with Keith. NHRA seems to have taken the fun out of the National events.

Jack I commend you for telling it from the chest...and yes them coming to the racers personally to convey what needed to be done is commendable as well. You take the time and effort to keep racers (and wannabes) informed and certainly do not deserve disrespect. If people are truly fed up with NHRA they should take their $$ elsewhere, might work to the benefit of all by making the suits realize that we are one of their biggest customers and they should be working to improve things for us.
I've been planning on running the Keystones for 2 years now but given their facility issues I end up withdrawing when the forecast looks ominous. Why can't they schedule this race to be the first race in the countdown? Seems logical to me that it would go Reading-St. Louis-Charlotte-Dallas and then head west. Would at least give them a fighting chance against Mother Nature.

Keith, all I can say is, although you did speak out, you have been to enough NHRA races to know this can happen. Your as guilty of being herded as anyone else by the fact you paid your 305 to the ranch owners to attend the slaughter.

It will be interesting to see how good the track conditions are without Stock and Super Stock going out first.
Here is today's schedule: http://www.dragracecentral.com/DRCSt...39920#indextop |
