The Nitro Jam event that will be held at SIR in Tucson and other locations is not an IHRA event. It is a Feld Entertainment event....and there is a difference.

Guess you don't want to talk about the all the issues NHRA has, like traction at Phoenix, sportsman racers at Gainesville a few years back.....I could go on & on. It's not an easy job for either sanctioning body. Let NHRA become the only game in town and we'll see if things would get any better. |

Times are tough, both sanctioning bodies have their strong points and weak points, and I see both sides. You are obviously one-sided slamming IHRA without admitting to NHRA's "circus". Biggest problem IHRA has is the lack of support from more NHRA regulars. We'll see if NHRA makes it through the year without any more controversey. They have a pretty good track record in the last few years.
.....or were you just quoting Doug Herbert's opinion, but not necessarily yours? |

To sorta quote you...They have a pretty lousy track record in the last few years (when it comes to teardown). |

Sorry, don't buy it. The NHRA regulars didn't come when IHRA was at its height and teardowns were more regular, either. The people that come over and race in IHRA generally enjoy themselves. Those that don't simply don't WANT to, for whatever reason. That's their decision, their loss. Enough blowing smoke.

Some of you need something else to do, what a bunch of crap. Do you hear Dan Fletcher bitchen? No he runs both where and when he can fit it in his schedule. l

Original topic....no stock/ super stock @ Pittsburgh ,We don't go! Why I don't go to the points meets @ Maple Grove and the Dutch Classic,...they can't get everything done in 3 days. I can run IHRA points meet saturday and sunday and finish 2 complete races...I don't care about cars counts, more classes,.ect.ect. I'll repete, I get 2 races in !
