Not sure i get the whole thing. I thought that Indy was a balls out run what you brung heads up race. The added money is nice but i would think most people want the Wally and the bragging rights of being the best in class that day in an open class with no additional rules. .This sounds like build back better.

A 2019 Dodge 392 Scat Pak fits nicely in AA/S, especially if you can be at 20 lbs. under A weight. I need to get the parts ordered! Testing in April. Thanks for the opportunity.

What I want to know is if I bring my 69 Camaro to Indy and enter in AA/S, make my first Q 1 pass weighing about 100lbs under the shootout weight then Q2 and Q3 are above this weight will I be disqualified??? Also, if there is a rainout will this shootout be canceled?

I have a car that will fit in AA. It is for sale.
Oh! I forgot. It has the third pedal in it now, so that's a start. lol Last edited by Terry Cain; 11-21-2023 at 05:54 AM. |

Competitive field. This years race was one that the fastest passes were all side by side and all carb cars could have won races with efi ls car with a .020 or better light. How competitive do you want it?

That LS car had 3 mph on the field every round this year. A few years ago another LS stick car went 138 and 140mph. That same car also went .06 quicker and 6 mph faster than Steve Wann did in A/SA. I only point that out as some say Mr. 413 is the fastest A car in the country. I don't think a carb car has gone 135 at Indy.

Never thought we would see hide and go seek at Indy. I fail to understand why people won’t support races that pay out serious money for stock eliminator. But they want to go to the most prestigious race and race for a $10,000 consolation prize..

Kevin and Sean,
Thank you for posting big money to support Stock and Super Stock racing. I have run several races where you have guaranteed the purse and it is much appreciated. Greg |
