That boat anchor worked pretty good. We got that guy 3 times that was the second time.
And the Nova was no 375 that was an aluminum head 427 with a dominator. A load of good parts. But none of them working together.

You have to realize back then you didn't have all the support stuff or testing procedures you have now. An 11 second car was fast.
It was a lot of make a change "if it feels good it worked" That car would foul plugs bad. He would go to the track change the plugs and go mid 11's. That was the purpose of driving from Brooklyn to Staten Island no stopping to tune up. That was why you see me behind the cars. If he would have cleaned it out I would have devoloped a malfunction and not run.

Are you referring to Charlie "Astoria Chas" Snyder? His "KO-MOTION" 'Vette was originally a 435-hp 427 car before he dropped in an L-88.

Hey Ed
I supplied the photos and the right info to the Editor, he decied to use it in his own way. He is the one who screwed up the info, not me. No one's names were suppose to be spcifically mentioned either. I was pretty miffed when this came out.
Art, you should tell them the whole story about that night in Staten Island with the Nova and how it ended for everyone involved. Remember Ray passing the cops. Also the other one about Froggys car on the Trailer out at 150th Street and Tex looking for his dog! They should all get a kick out of that one,LOL!!
