Default HD Partners Acquisition Corporation Fizzels

It began with a roar out of Glendora and will end with a wimper on April 7, 2008 in Santa Monica. The Company is holding it's final meeting to approve a Plan of Liquidation.

TC played Drag Racer Monopoly and tried to break the rules, rig the board, and fool the players (the racers/members). Instead he got caught and landed on the wrong square. Now with economic uncertainty, sub-prime colapse and corporate credit market all but dried up, there isn't much hope for a fraud like Mr. Compton. I've called some pretty accurate speculations lately through gut feelings. And my gut tells me he may be wearing a red vest and greeting people here http://www.walmart.com/storeLocator/...arch_zip=91741

Putz!!

The reasoning escapes me!
If NHRA's financial situation suffers who do you think is going to feel the consequences?

The deal was never real in the first place. There were some players on HD Partners board who let the process go way too far before they took a serious look at it. The deal was dead as soon as they considered all the risks.

nhra probably spent a few bucks on the deal, but not as much as the HD Partners group. Clifford and Compton look like the biggest losers because they had the most to gain. They are kinda stuck at nhra now.
Poor fellers.
