Re: Good luck ryan in pro stock
The Yates Racing Wiley X GXP Pro Stocker, sidelined since the O'Reilly NHRA Spring Nationals presented by Pennzoil in late March, will return to the NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series tour beginning at the United Association Route 66 NHRA Nationals in Chicago but with Division 1 Super Gas and Top Sportsman racer Ryan Ondrejko behind the wheel instead of Jim Yates.
"I am really excited about this great opportunity to work with another young exceptional driver," said Yates in his NHRA.com blog. "Ryan comes to us with a great profile as a driver in NHRA. He has won two Super Gas divisional titles and is currently the points leader in the Division 1 Top Sportsman class. He has won several races already this season and is looking forward to competing in his first Professional Pro Stock race." Under Yates' guidance, Ondrejko will test in the next two weeks to prepare for his Pro debut, then will compete at the NHRA events in Englishtown, Norwalk, Reading, Indy, and Charlotte. For more on the Yateses and their announcement, see Jim Yates' blog. |
