Default Q-Jet parts

I have the 1-20 thread adapter fitting #6 AN, on my Q-Jet. Is there common practice to use 1-20 thread #8? If yes,is there a part number to order these fitting with #8 AN ?
Thank,

Were you considering a # 10 to a Q-Jet fitting. If so contact John at Product Engineering and ask for PE 3510 -10 A.N. x Quadrajet. The cost is around $ 15.00 plus shipping. John can also custom design and make just about anything you can dream of.

All Edelbrock carbs and 74-89 OEM carbs use 1" X 20 thread.

A simple fix is to drill and tap your factory inlet housing to 3/8" pipe. With a good drill press and a sharp tap it won't take you more than 10 minutes. Then you can use a very common AN to pipe adapter.
