For you that need an overlength permit to go to Gainesville, here is the link to apply : http://www.fdotmaint.com/PermitNew/home.asp
You can submit the form online, then after you hear back from them, you can pay by credit card over the phone. You probably want to get this done pretty soon, since most of us will be leaving in less than a month if you are going to Cecil, GA first. The cost should be $20 for the blanket permit which is good for a year. If you say you are over 80' it goes up to $300. Hope to see ya'll in Georgia! Patsy |

I got mine over the net. Cheap insurance. Up to 80 ft for 20 bucks. Good all year. No VIN number on it.
