Hello all, I've been away from racing for 20+ years so I'm way out of touch.
Looking for a engine builder familiar with Mopar Hemis and wedges in the lower Michigan/northern Ohio area. I know there's the usual suspects on the east and west coasts but was really hoping to deal with someone closer to home. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I’d give Bruce Parsons a call, he’s in Dayton and know he’s done wedges. Give him a call and discuss. Terry Smith in Cincinnati is very familiar with Hemis.

When I think of Hemis and Michigan I think of Charlie Wescott.

Bill, know Charlie is the definitive wizard of Hemis but I shudder to think what his lead time would be for a new customer to get in line. Besides, Bruce doesn’t talk as far over my head LOL.

Is Best Machine still going? They were around Detroit and specialized in Mopar motors.

Yep, Chuck and Pete are still going. I'm not sure they do any S/SS stuff, but it's worth a call to find out. Thanks!

I've used both of these guys. Great service From both. Bruce has did my last engine. You may want to try Indy cylinder heads out of Xenia Ohio. I believe they now have a legal Super stock head for hemis
