One other comment. The 57 FI intake was made from stamped sheet metal. Fred B always said that it flowed better than the porous Chevrolet aluminum cast runners / intake. I am fairly certain that the 58 Pontiacs had the cast aluminum.

The distribution block that feeds fuel to the tri power looks like the brake distribution block on my '65 GTO.
